Punta Cana – Dominican Republic

Barcelo Bavaro Grand Resort at Punta Cana

In August 2017 we got to take a late vacation and visit Punta Cana in Dominican Republic and we stay at Barcelo Bavaro Grand Resort with family and the kids. It was a great time to relax and spend time with the family while enjoying a great place.  We had an amazing time there, I recommend this trip to anyone who is seeking for some time off. The Kids had a blast and there is more than enough adult fun as well.

Babaro Beach is one of the best beaches in the world. We live in Florida and we have the beach about 15 minutes away from home and I can say that Babaro Beach is as good or better than the beaches of Florida. It was a great mix of hot day and cold sea water.

The Resort is one of the top in luxury at Punta Cana, designed specifically for people who love constant sunshine. Caribbean breeze whispering in the palm trees, and beautiful crystal clear waters with a coral reef. The Resort is beside one of the 10 most stunning beaches in the world. Rest and relaxation are guaranteed in this paradise in absolute comfort.

The variety of food at one of the best All Inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic allows guests to enjoy themselves and experience unique culinary adventures by sampling Dominican flavors or savoring international specialties at one of its 11 restaurants.

You can also take advantage of enjoying water sports such as scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, and windsurfing. There are many facilities for sports enthusiasts, an exclusive spa for guests looking to unwind, a casino, clubs, and evening shows for those who enjoy nightlife.

Punta Cana

Punta Cana is the easternmost tip of the Dominican Republic, About the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. It’s a region known for its 32km stretch of beaches and clear waters. The Bavaro area and Punta Cana combine to form what’s known as La Costa del Coco, or the Coconut Coast, an area of lavish, all-inclusive resorts. It’s popular for zip-lining, windsurfing, kayaking and sailing.

While in Punta Cana. I took a few hours from the family to do some Architectural and Landscape Photography. There was so many Photography opportunities that probably I will need another week just to photograph the Resort as I really would like to.  But I got some really good shots and the weather was nice to me to be able to accomplish some great still and a short Timelapse.
